Mickie founded Washer Solutions in 2001. For over 46 years, he had been actively involved in the Scientific and Healthcare industries through the design and manufacturing of washing and sterilization equipment. Many of Mickie’s designs have changed the industry and are still being used today. Through the years, while in leadership roles with many of the foremost companies in the industry, over 2,000 projects have been successfully completed under his direction.
Although Mickie has decided to retire in 2021, he continues to be a resource and serves on the advisory board of Washer Solutions.
1974 to 1975 – Designer,Edmonds Manufacturing Corporation (EMC) EMC manufactured washing equipment for the Soft Drink and Animal Care Industry. EMC was sold in 1975.
1975 to 1989 – Vice President, Basil Equipment Corporation (BASIL) BASIL manufactured washing equipment for the Health Care and Animal Care Industry. BASIL was sold in 1989.
1989 to 1991 – Vice President, American Sterilizer Corporation (AMSCO) AMSCO purchased BASIL and has relocated the facility to its Quebec facility. They have since added the BASIL washer line to their list of products.
1991 to 1998 – Owner,MTP Custom Machinery Corporation (MTP) MTP manufactured washing equipment for the Soft Drink, Bakery, Health Care, and Animal Care Industry. MTP was sold in 1998.
1998 to 2001 – Vice President of Scientific Division, Getinge / Castle Inc. (GC) GC purchased MTP and has relocated the facility to its Rochester location. They have since added MTP’s washing equipment to their product line.
Marcus is the President of Washer Solutions, a position he has held since 2013. During this time, he has developed a manufacturing facility, aftermarket control systems for sterilizers and washers, as well as expanded our service team to cover 7 states. He is responsible for the training of Washer Solutions’ field service engineers and maintaining Washer Solutions’ standards of customer equipment service needs.
Christina serves as the Vice President of Washer Solutions, a position she has held since 2018. Christina has been integral in the development of our service reporting & management software. Christina also developed and maintains our parts department, as well as serves as point of contact for account management. In addition, she is responsible for Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable and overseeing day-to-day operations of the business.
